At the most recent UKJKKL meeting held at the Medical University of Warsaw on 28 February, the prime topics on the commission agenda included accreditation of the medical universities by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) in connection with the announcement made by the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) that as of the year 2023 it would certify the qualifications of graduates of those medical universities which meet the global education quality criteria and hold the WFME accreditation.
Also discussed was the issue of the sent-in Medical Faculties’ Self-Appraisal Questionnaires, and prof. Janusz Moryś, UKJKKL Chairman, presented a draft Education Quality Certificate which will be handed to universities following positive assessment by the commission.
