On 8 November 2017, the University Commission for the Quality of Medical Education (UKJKKL) operating under the auspices of KRAUM [Conference of Rectors of University Medical Schools] held its meeting at the Medical University of Warsaw.
The guests at the Medical University of Warsaw were greeted by His Magnificence Rector, prof. dr hab. Mirosław Wielgoś.
The meeting was devoted to an overview of the effects of the UKJKKL Chairman’s attendance at a meeting of the National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation at the Department of Education, USA. The Polish delegate shared exhaustive information on medical studies in our country with the NCFMEA members. In effect, the accreditation for the Polish Medical Universities was extended for further 3 years.
Also discussed were the suggested changes to the medical faculties’ Self-Appraisal Questionnaire, ensuing from the meeting at the Department of Education, USA.
The Chairman of the commission, prof. dr hab. Janusz Moryś, presented the commission members with the new UKJKKL website and the electronic system of registering the Self-Appraisal Questionnaires, which will facilitate the commission’s works in the future.
